July’s Introduction to Zentangle class was full to the brim with eight new students, and in spite of the fact that the gallery’s air conditioning system was broken (and it was a VERY hot and humid summer day!), we had a lot of fun together learning to tangle. Check out their awesome tiles:

I always love to see how every student’s work reflects their own personal style, and how, even though all of them are learning the same patterns, each tile turns out to be unique and special in its own way. Nice work!

While I have not scheduled any advanced classes over the summer, there will be two more opportunities in August and September for those of you who are new to the Zentangle Method to take my introductory class. As a bit of a change, I am going to be holding these introductory classes on Monday nights (instead of the usual Saturday) and starting them a little earlier in the evening. Hopefully this will accommodate those of you who are interested in taking the class, but have been unable to attend on the weekend.

Once you’ve completed Introduction to Zentangle, you’ll be eligible to sign up for any of my advanced classes, which will start up again in late September. If you’re in the Windsor-Essex region of Ontario, I hope to see you soon!

(FYI, if you’re not available for one of my scheduled classes, would prefer individual instruction, or want to host a class for a group of friends in your home or workplace, I’m there for you! Give me a shout and we’ll chat.)
