The Fandala

Note: This class is open to anyone who has previously taken an “Introduction to Zentangle” class with Laurel Storey, CZT or another Certified Zentangle Teacher.

The geometric flow and circular structure of mandalas seem to naturally invite the use of the Zentangle Method to create a beautiful hybrid between the two forms of art. In this class, students will create their own custom-designed “fandala” on a handmade paper fan using a black Pigma Micron pen along with the student’s choice of accent colours and metallics. Participants will build on their Zentangle practice as they use tangle patterns to embellish their creation and create a beautiful and functional work of art.
