This class is about taking a meaningful universal symbol and bringing it into the Zentangle world. Working on a gray Zentangle Opus paper tile, students will learn how how work in layers and trust the process as they learn techniques of building composition and explore how tangles relate to one another.
As the size and detail of this project requires significantly more time to complete than a regular Zentangle class, it will be scheduled in either two parts or for an extended day-long session.
Tiles for class instruction are included. Students should bring the supply kit they received in their “Introduction to Zentangle” class, as well as additional specialized tools relevant to the project (a suggested list will be provided to students prior to class). Additional supplies may be purchased online from Laurel Storey, CZT up to a day prior to class for pickup at class.
