Happy Holidays to one and all! No matter what you may be celebrating, I hope you’re enjoying the very best of the season, and are looking forward to jumping into a beautiful new year and a brand new decade. Here’s to a fun and creative 2020!

As we finish off this year, I thought I’d take a couple of minutes to recap some of the fun things that have happened in my tangling world over the past few months (which, incidentally, have seemed far busier than usual!), and also share the details of Zentangle classes scheduled for the next quarter.

In addition to teaching, I had two opportunities to show and sell some of my work and promote my Zentangle classes – once at Open Streets Windsor in September (sharing a booth with a great friend and her pottery), and once at Sobeys in early November as part of their Pop Up Artist series. I also enjoyed spending several days as a participant at TangleOn 2019 Niagara in October, which was an amazing experience full of learning, creating, and meeting new friends. Finally, I took the plunge and expanded my collection of artwork for sale with the addition of prints and greeting cards for two of my designs. I really should write a post about each of these exciting creative adventures, but you know how it is – so much to do, so little time!

In terms of teaching, I’ve welcomed new students to two separate Introduction to Zentangle classes, and had a great time with several of my returning students at a brand new Zentangle®-Inspired Art (ZIA) Class – Tangled Watercolours class. Check out some of their lovely work!

Now, looking ahead to the new year, I’ve set up a series of classes (including two brand new offerings!) for the months of January through March. There will be three opportunities for anyone new to the Zentangle Method to learn this lovely art form, and three advanced classes for returning students, with all sessions held in the beautiful gallery space at the Walkerville Artists’ Co-op. If you’re in the Windsor-Essex region of Ontario, I hope to see you soon!

(FYI, if you’re not available for one of my scheduled classes, would prefer individual instruction, or want to host a class for a group of friends in your home or workplace, I’m there for you! Give me a shout and we’ll chat.)
